Pukumon is a Mutant Digimon whose name is derived from the onomatopoeia for swelling (ぷくぷく Pukupuku), and whose design is derived from the pufferfish (Takifugu rubripes). It is a British Punk Digimon that was born when Britain's strongest hacker caused a mutation in a computer virus in which he had poured all the knowledge he possessed. Although its size is small, it has a rebellious personality that contends for first place even in the Digital World. It can't help picking fights, no matter whether the opponents are stronger or weaker than itself, and settling disputes with fist fights is considered its normal style. Its Metal Head is made from Chrondigizoit.
Pukumon was added to Korean Digimon Masters on March 5th, 2014.
Pukumon was added as a Mercenary Digimon to NADMO (formerly known as Global Digimon Masters) with the February 24th, 2015 Patch.
