Datamon is Machine Digimon whose English name is derived from "data" and whose Japanese name and design are derived from nanorobotics. It is an ultra-small therapeutic Machine Digimon. It was once a Vaccine Digimon used to restore crashed computers, but it was attacked by a strong Virus Digimon, which destroyed its logic circuits and, of course, made it run wild. It re-constructs the data selfishly, even with normally-running computers. Despite its small stature, Datamon can easily delete bigger and stronger Digimon.

Notes

The update that included Datamon as a raid boss, also came with files that suggest he might become a Mercenary Digimon at one point.

Datamon Maze

Despite the name, Datamon Treasure Box is only dropped by Etemon (Raid) in the Maze.
